I am a visual storyteller and communications consultant.
I produce compelling and intimate stories across still and moving images. These stories are primarily focused on the human experience and explore processes of change and the subsequent impact that entails for individuals, communities and projects.
Drawing on my background in community development, I have developed a unique practice in which I am engaged for my ability to combine technical strengths as a visual storyteller coupled with my passion for working with communities and solving problems in diverse contexts. Over the past decade I have worked in more than 40 countries for a large number of international organisations and institutions especially within agriculture, development, education, health and research sectors.
My approach to work places equal emphasis on the process of working with people and the importance of delivering compelling stories. My style of working with clients is reflexive and highly individualised in order to ensure the stories I tell and the communications strategies implemented are successful. Every engagement is different and often I collaborate with a wider team of communicators and creative specialists to ensure I can provide a rich breadth of meaningful content for my clients.
Below is a short film that explains my approach to visual communications.
